Discover who’s behind the TyphoonCAT

Who are we?

At TyphoonCAT, we believe sailing should be simple, accessible, and liberating. Too often, traditional boats come with barriers — expensive trailers, storage headaches, long setup times — that keep people off the water.

We set out to change that.

Our mission is to remove every obstacle between you and the freedom of sailing. With our inflatable catamarans, you can pack adventure into the boot of your car, rig in minutes, and experience the thrill of the wind and water anywhere you go.

We’re sailors ourselves. We know the joy of catching wind on open water, and the frustration of equipment that makes it harder than it should be. That’s why we designed the TyphoonCAT to be portable, durable, and performance-driven — a boat that works for families, first-timers, and seasoned sailors alike.

For us, it’s not just about building boats.
It’s about giving you the freedom to say yes to adventure.

A note from our founder

I’ve been sailing for years, and while I love the sport, I always felt frustrated by how complicated it was to get out on the water. Trailers, storage, hours of rigging… sometimes it felt like more hassle than joy.

That’s when the idea for the TyphoonCAT was born.

I wanted to create a boat that gave people the freedom to sail anywhere, anytime — without the barriers. Something light enough to fit in the boot of a car, quick enough to set up in 20 minutes, but strong and fast enough to thrill both beginners and experienced sailors.

The TyphoonCAT is more than just an inflatable catamaran. It’s a way to bring families closer, make adventures spontaneous again, and open up sailing to a whole new generation.

For me, this isn’t just about building boats. It’s about building freedom.
I can’t wait to see where your TyphoonCAT takes you.
